Modified the Mustang Cobra IRS Diff Housing to Fit
In order to clear the chassis the Cobra Differential Carrier needs to have the top-front ground down a little. I used a few different double-cut carbide rotary burr bits on a 1/4″ die grinder to get the bulk of the metal removed, followed by some finishing work using 2″ Coarse Roloc Surface Conditioning Discs from 3M. The end result is a smooth surface. I’m leaving this as it is for the moment but I’ll likely come back later to paint it with some POR-15.
