Tonight we installed the Independent Rear Suspension Lower Control Arms and IRS Tie Down Loop Kit (ordered recently from Breeze Automotive). The tie down loop kit is two laser cut stainless steel loops that mount under the rear lower control arm to chassis bolt or nut. Checking Rear CV Axle Lobes

There was a tech bulletin issued for the FFR Rear CV Axles. Some people had problems with the lobes not being fully seated. This required having to inspect them by removing the CV boots. No problem. Everything looked good and I repacked the CV boots with grease. Only issue was I needed a special tool to button everything back up. Liquid Grease on Top of Ball Joint

Liquid Grease on Top of Ball Joint

Today I noticed a pool of liquid grease on top of the passenger-side ball joint. After doing some research it turns out it is normal to have a little liquid oil separate from the grease and seep past the grease fitting. Glad it turned out to be nothing.
