My JEGS Tubing Straightener arrived today. This normally would cost me $219.99 but I got it on sale for $153.99. That is the lowest price I've ever seen this sell for so I had to jump on it. Fortunately it works well for 3/16" to 1/2" O.D. tubing so it should be perfect for straitening all of my fuel supply, fuel return, and brake lines.

I just picked up the CNC triple reservoirs off another forum member. Save me some money, and got them for $150 shipped. Two things I'll do differently: Having them anodized black Low fluid level sensorsJamar sells a knock-off of the CNC reservoirs in black, and I would have gotten those had it not been for the extra $100 added to the CNC price and the ugly logo they put on the front. We installed the Cobra IRS knuckles, hubs, bearings, and rear Wilwood brakes tonight.

So excited I got to work on the Cobra last night with my chief mechanic Christine. First time in a looooong time we got to turn a wrench on this car. Went through the front brakes and suspension. Started to pull the rear brakes and spindles apart. Ordering some tools later to finish up the independent rear suspension. Going to get Christine her own mechanics gloves while we're at it.

Tonight Brad and I installed the rear ABS tone rings onto the rear IRS axles. It required heating the rings to a near-glow with a MAP torch to expand the inner openings, sliding them onto the axles, wait for them to cool and shrink onto the axle.

Making room in the garage... we sold the front brakes that came with the kit from Factory Five Racing. They're going to another Factory Five Roadster Owner who bought a base kit. The Wilwood Brakes we got are going to be a huge improvement over these.

Tonight Christine and I installed the Wilwood Front Brakes.

Christine and I put safety wire on the two-piece Wilwood rotors. This will make sure that the bolts never back out unexpectedly.

The Wilwood Brakes from Mike Forte arrived today.

The front suspension torqued to spec and rotors installed.
